2013 AW NY Collection / TASAKI Ear Cuffs Appear on the Runway for THAKOON

unveiled jewelry created especially for the fashion
runway at the showing ofTHAKOON's New York collection
for the 2013 autumn and winter season held on February 10.

Ever since his appointment to serve as TASAKI's Creative
Director in 2009, ThakoonPanichgul has often incorporated
pieces of TASAKI jewelry into his own New York　collection.
This season, he went farther and had his models appear on
the runway wearing TASAKI ear cuffs that are designed to adorn
the whole ear. Attuned to the fashions in his collection,
which conjured up a poetic world of dazzling dragonflies and
fantastic flora, the ear cuffs were inspired by the image of
plant life thriving in a different dimension.

Some were studded with stones of various colors to portray a
vivid newcosmos, while others weaved an outer-space world with
monotone gem arrays. The combination of colored stones,
freshwater pearls, and metallic materials in moldedconfigurations
adds a mysterious luster that sparkles at the wearer's ears.
